Which insulation should I do first—loft, IWI, or RIRI?
Loft insulation usually delivers the quickest win. If you have cold external walls or a loft conversion, IWI or RIRI will further improve comfort and efficiency.

What is IWI?
Internal Wall Insulation insulates the inside face of external walls using insulated boards or stud systems, then finishes with plaster and paint.

What is RIRI?
Room-in-Roof Insulation targets sloped ceilings, dormers, and eaves in loft conversions so the room stays warm in winter and cool in summer.

Will insulation cause damp?
Installed correctly with proper vapour control and ventilation, insulation helps reduce condensation and draughts. We always assess moisture risks before work starts.

How long does a flat roof last?
With the right materials and detailing, modern flat roofs are designed for long service lives. We’ll recommend the best option for your roof and budget.

Can I add solar now and batteries later?
Yes. Many systems are designed to be “battery-ready,” so you can add storage when you’re ready.

Do heat pumps work in older homes?
Absolutely—provided the property is well-insulated and the system is properly sized. We assess this during survey and can recommend insulation upgrades if needed.

How disruptive is internal insulation?
Expect some dust and short-term room downtime. We protect floors and furnishings and keep disruption to a minimum, working room-by-room if needed.
9.
How long will the work take?
Small jobs (like loft insulation) may be completed in a day. Larger projects (IWI, RIRI, flat roofs, solar/heat pumps) vary with property size—your survey includes a firm schedule.

Do you help with paperwork and warranties?
