We respect your privacy. This notice explains how we collect, use and share personal data under the UK GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018.

1) Data we collect

• Identity & contact data: name, title, email, phone, property/installation address.
• Project & property data: details you provide about your roof/heating/insulation/solar system, photos/videos you upload or send, utility information you choose to share (e.g., recent bills or consumption).
• Communications: enquiries, call notes, emails, feedback. Marketing preferences: opt-ins/opt-outs.
• Technical data (via cookies, if enabled): IP address, device type, pages viewed, interactions (see Cookie Policy).
• Job applicants: CV, cover letter and interview notes (if you apply to work with us). We collect data directly from you, from publicly available sources (e.g., address lookups), and, with your permission, from third parties (e.g., referral partners).

2) How we use your data & legal bases

• To respond to enquiries and provide quotes (pre-contract / contract: Art 6(1)(b)).
• To schedule surveys, supply and install products/services, and manage your project (contract: Art 6(1)(b)).
• To manage payments, warranties and aftercare (contract & legal obligation: Art 6(1)(b),(c)).
• To send service messages (contract & legitimate interests: Art 6(1)(b),(f)).
• To improve our services and website analytics (legitimate interests or consent for non-essential cookies: Art 6(1)(a),(f)).
• To send marketing communications (consent, or legitimate interests where permitted—always with an opt-out).
• To process job applications (pre-contract / consent).

3) Sharing your data

We share personal data with:

• Service providers/contractors who help deliver surveys, installations, payments, hosting and support (bound by confidentiality).
• Manufacturers and warranty providers for product registration.
• Professional advisers and insurers.
• Regulators or authorities where required by law.
• Analytics/advertising providers (only if you consent to non-essential cookies—see Cookie Policy).

We do not sell your personal data.

4) International transfers

If any processing involves transfer outside the UK, we will use appropriate safeguards (e.g., UK IDTA/Addendum, adequacy decisions).

5) Retention

• Enquiries/leads: up to 24 months from last contact.
• Customers/projects: generally 6 years after completion (for tax/contract/warranty purposes).
• Marketing records: until you opt out or your consent is withdrawn.
• Job applicants: typically 12 months unless you ask us to retain your details longer.

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data. No system is 100% secure. 9) Children Our services are not directed to children under 16.
